Woot! Got my own web space!
Hey Folks, Welcome to my page!
So a little bit of introduction about me. I'm Brian, 24 years old and I'm currently working as a full-time writer for different local magazines and newspapers.
I pretty much enjoy living my life! With my beautiful girlfriend, amazing family, and my good friends. I like hanging out with these people and I spend pretty much half my free time with them, alone! I'm blessed with having such amazing people in my life.
For the other half, well, you asked for it!
When I'm not at work or spending time with family or friends, I sometimes go swimming or fishing (like in that pic) I usually do that like once or twice a week, depends on my mood really. I also enjoy playing football and basketball..
For the rest of the second part, well I play games and enjoy messing around with technology. Matter of fact, I still buy myself those expensive toys (I know lotsa guys of my age that do as well, so!).
I've been a gamer for more than half my life, I really enjoy that. I mean, it's not my problem that these game programmers actually do create some addicting game, no, not really my problem. They make their games, I purchase or download it, try it, and get addicted. It's not my problem really! You see, it was never about the graphics either because I know a lot of newbie gamers just look for the graphics first, not thinking about anything else. Well graphics has its role, yes. But still, it's not everything.
I remember getting to a lot of 2D games back in the day when they were popular. Guys behind these games did some amazing jobs in getting people addicted to the gameplay itself, not focusing everything entirely on the graphics sounds and all of these nice and dandy things that we find in all of today's games.
Things were much more simpler back then. But today, look at all of these gaming consoles, Xbox 360, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3, Wii and whatnot. Each and everyone of these consoles has it's fans, that would fight for it and would die for it. Because simply, each and every person has a "flavor" when it comes to gaming :-)
I'm one of those people, I'd kill for a Xbox game, like Halo for instance. (Well not really kill, but you get my point!). And that's basically why I have Xbox in my title. I love the thing. Matter of fact I never liked Microsoft that much until they launched the thing!!
Well that's enough for today. I just wanted to post some info about me so you become familiar with me! Feel free to leave me a msg at anytime and I will gladly reply to it. I love meeting new people, specially gamers ;)
G'Day.
